Small Works opening reception, 5:30 to 9 p.m., IU Kokomo Downtown Art Gallery, 102 N. Main St. The exhibition includes sculptures, paintings, printmaking and other media, with pieces 12 inches by 12 inches or smaller. The exhibition continues through August 18. Free.

Culture Fest, 4 to 7 p.m., IU Kokomo, 2300 S. Washington St. Take a virtual trip around the world through food, music, and dance, while honoring the rich cultural, ethnic, and geographic diversity on campus.

Tailgate and IU Kokomo women’s volleyball game, 6 p.m. tailgate, 7 p.m. game, Cougar Gym, 507 E. Superior St. Spend time with friends before cheering the Cougars on to victory.
