KOKOMO, Ind. — Get in the mood for the holidays, with Indiana University Kokomo’s Cougar Choir and Harmonics Sounds of the Season winter concert.
The 45-member ensemble will perform familiar carols and exciting new music at 7 p.m. Friday, December 7, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 9 in Havens Auditorium. Admission is free.
The group has performed in the smaller Kresge auditorium in the past, but growing attendance and membership prompted a move to the larger venue, according to Wendy Grice, lecturer in music.
“We are so excited to be in Havens for the first time as the Cougar Choir,” she said. “We think this concert has something for everyone, and it is very family friendly.”
The concert features a dancer, a string quartet, a jazz combo, and international holiday traditions. Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from the movie Frozen will be special guests, and welcome families to take pictures after the show.
