KOKOMO, Ind. — Jared Hayman will serve as Indiana University Kokomo’s chief fiscal officer, as vice chancellor for finance. He will provide leadership, management, and stewardship for all aspects of campus financial resources.
Chancellor Susan Sciame-Giesecke welcomes Hayman to campus.
“Jared brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of higher education financial issues,” she said. “I look forward to his leadership in planning and budgeting as we continue to grow and enhance our campus.”
He looks forward to working for IU Kokomo, where he feels a sense of positive energy.
“There are a lot of great things happening here, and I look forward to being part of the continued growth,” he said. “It definitely feels like a family atmosphere, in which everybody is working together towards a common goal of student success.”
Hayman most recently was director of financial affairs for the Office of the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer at Purdue University. He has 10 years of experience in higher education, starting as an admissions counselor at Indiana State University, before moving into financial affairs.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
Hayman lives in West Lafayette with his wife, Sara, and two children.
