KOKOMO, Ind. — Enjoy artwork created by 50 talented juniors and seniors, at the Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery’s 22nd Annual High School Exhibition.
The exhibit, which opened with an awards ceremony on Wednesday (May 17), includes work by students from Eastern, Kokomo, Oak Hill, Peru, and Tri-Central high schools, as well as the Kokomo Area Career Center. It continues through Saturday, June 10, in the Gallery, located in Upper Alumni Hall.
“The High School Exhibition is a chance for high schools in north central Indiana to showcase their students’ artwork collectively, and learn about college options for art-related career fields,” said Tara Scott, gallery director.
Eastern High School student Hannah Lewellyn won Best of Show with her mixed media entry, “Innovate and Create.”

The IU Kokomo Art Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. It is closed Sunday and Friday. Admission and parking are free.
