Saturday, September 15

IU Kokomo women’s volleyball, 1 p.m. vs. Brescia University, at Cougar Gym, 507 E. Superior St., Kokomo. Admission is $5 for the public, free for IU Kokomo students, faculty, and staff with a Crimson Card, and free for children 12 and younger.

Tuesday September 18

IU Kokomo Table Talks, 1 p.m., IU Kokomo Kelley Student Center Room 130B. Topic is “What is privilege?” Free.

IU Kokomo women’s tennis, 3:30 p.m. vs. Grace College at Foster Park, 721 W. Superior St. Free.

Wednesday, September 19

Third annual Field Live, 1 to 2 p.m., IU Kokomo Downtown Art Gallery. Students will read poems, short stories, and research published in the 2018 edition of the campus journal, Field. The Gallery, 102 N. Main Street, Kokomo, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Free.

Events with Indian monks from Labrang Tashikyil Monastery, IU Kokomo Kelley Student Center Room 130B. Events include an art workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m., a meditation methods workshop from 2:30 to 3 p.m., and a debate from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

Culture Bash, 4 to 7 p.m., IU Kokomo Pavilion. Tour the world through food, music, and dance at this annual interactive international festival. Admission is free, and food may be purchased from vendors on site.

Thursday, September 20

Alumni and Field artwork exhibition, 12:30 to 6:30 p.m., IU Kokomo Downtown Art Gallery, 102 N. Main St. The exhibition includes alumni artwork, as well as work included in the 2018 edition of the campus journal, Field. Free.

Friday, September 21

Monday, September 24

Rebel Readers: Frankenstein Live!, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at iuk.edu/Frankenstein. Guest readers will read Frankenstein via livestream, with the final readers in IU Kokomo’s Kresge Auditorium. After the final reader, view the silent film version with musical accompaniment. A reception will follow. Free. The reading is part of the One State/One Story project.

Tuesday, September 25

IU Kokomo 100 for 100 art exhibition, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., IU Kokomo Art Gallery. The exhibition includes artwork donated to be sold for $100 each, to raise money for gallery renovations.

Frankenstein book panel discussion, 3 to 4 p.m., IU Kokomo Library South Commons. Free. Sponsored by the IU Kokomo English Club, and part of the One State/One Story project.

Wednesday, September 26

IU Kokomo Visit In Person (VIP) Day, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Kelley Student Center and Alumni Hall. High school juniors and seniors are invited to learn about the admissions process and opportunities available at IU Kokomo. RSVP at IUK VIP Day
