KOKOMO, Ind. – For Valentine’s Day, be a sweetheart to someone in need.
Indiana University Kokomo is hosting a blood drive on Monday, February 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kelley Student Center, room 130.
Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Office of Student Activities at (765) 455-9203. Walk-ins are also welcome.
“Donating blood is a quick and simple way to help someone who is truly in need,” said Chancellor Michael Harris, who plans to participate in the blood drive. “I encourage all faculty, staff, and students who are eligible to give blood and help save a life.”
This event is co-sponsored by Educational Student Advisory Committee (EdSAC), Mathematics, English, Science, History working together for Education (meshed), and the IU Kokomo Leadership Academy.
The blood drive is conducted by the American Red Cross of North Central Indiana, which serves Grant, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash counties. Frequently asked questions and answers about giving blood can be found on the American Red Cross Web site at http://www.redcrossblood.org/.
